For the opening of the new V&A Furniture gallery at the end of 2012 AllofUs were commissioned to create two large interactive material display tables that celebrate the unique qualities of the different furniture materials found throughout the gallery.
Each of the materials had been designed individually making them a joy to look at and touch. These crafted materials when touched activate the responsive interface on the tables, which then presents the user with information about the materials origins and usage.
My role within the team was to design an elegant interface that complimented the unique, tactile nature of the table. We wanted to make the the mix of digital and tactile work together in a seamless enjoyable way and that didn't serve as a distraction.
AllofUs and Work Club joined forces in 2012 to create an innovative installation that gave passers by in Amsterdam Schiphol Airport to leave an impression. Airports tend to strip you of you're identity and the idea behind the installation was to let people express their personal creativity.
The installation was created using three HD 46" screens placed into two custom built cases.
Software using Microsoft Kinect technology created by the talented Chris Mullany analyses user's unique features as they approach the screens such as clothing colour, motion, gesture and distance to create a uniquely generated image reflecting the person along with generated lighting, and depth of field effects the final impression of the user is created and captured by the software and can be shared socially.
I was involved during the concept, storyboarding and design stages of the installation. Creating visual mockups of how the on screen graphics work at different stages of interaction, these designs then informed the look and feel of the website, and mobile sites.
My Timer a self initiated project, while ill at the start of 2012 I found myself having to take multiple prescription tablets at different times. Noting when to take different medicines at different intervals became frustrating and a real chore, so I sketched out ideas for a simple app that can quickly and easily create multiple timers which countdown to specified intervals. Based around the concept of a circle that represents a simplified face of a clock the user can easily navigate using a drag gesture to manipulate the time.
My timer will aid people who have to take multiple prescriptions to easily and intuitively set different timers in 3 easy steps. The user will receive discrete alerts and will be able to change alert tones and other settings.
Currently in development.

A self initiated project, these prints focus on the incomprehensible numbers we hear whenever talk of the world economy starts, culminating in the fictional number 'Zillions'. The designs of the poster are based around guilloches - a vintage design element that was used frequently for anti-counterfeiting purposes on banknotes.↓
Yota Play is a cross platform on demand movie service from popular Russian brand Yota.
Play is a truly unique service, a multi-platform video on demand service which shows off Yota’s 4G network capabilities.
This work is an evolution of the work developed in previous phases at AllofUs. During the concept envisioning stage working alongside an art director and a UX designer we looked at refreshing the look and feel, creating an even more beautiful user friendly user interface across the Yota ecosystem while also evolving the feature set and interaction behaviour.

Building on the success of Sky Player on Xbox AllofUs were tasked on developing version 2 of the Sky Player. This version was based on the Metro UI, which is cleaner fresher updated graphical approach which was part of a wider Xbox interface redesign. We also had to consider how we would make use of Kinect technology.
Working alongside with the Sky and Xbox UK teams our challenge was to create a beautiful user friendly interface while at the same time adding a range of new features to the Sky Player while keeping everything on brand. These new features included social (twitter and facebook), sharing, and quick film reviews.
Working closely with a UX designer we created a considered, confident easy to use interface which helped bring the Sky Player V2 forward.

Wedding invite for Amber & Lee. The illustration is a minimised illustration of the church the marriage the church was taking place in. The resulting invitations were laser cut onto 170-216 gsm card with sliver backing paper.
Accompanying menu cards and information cards were also designed. The overall design ran seamlessly with the theme and colour scheme of the wedding.

Save the date email to celebrate the wedding of Amber & Lee. A lovely job to work on, with lots of creative freedom and a fun narrative to convey. Lee and Amber wanted a unique save the date email for their wedding, something personal and memorable. We decided a great way to invite people to their wedding is by telling the story of how they met and their story so far.

Man vs Machine. Tube stations are closer than you think.
To mark the launch of the new ASICS store in London, an installation and website was created challenging members of the public to race against 2006 World Triathlon Champion, Tim Don and the London Circle Line over 3 separate races using a custom treadmill developed in house.
The runner is constantly updated with their progress while running. Using large typography, a clear visual language, and constant updates the runner can quickly see how well they're performing.
I was responsible for the design of the in-store graphics which were displayed on multiple screens throughout the store, and also used on the microsite.

Becks Inspired art challenged designers to choose an album from Pitchfork's "Album of the Decade" list and re-imagine the cover. I chose Discovery by Daft Punk. My aim was to create a cover which reflected my favourite tracks on the album such as Nightvision, High Life and Aerodynamic. Keeping the energy of the album present but also reflecting the calm littered throughout certain tracks.

Milk matters, a website with lots of animation and interactive wonder. The Idea for the site was to create a ‘Cravendale World’ with which the user could interact with every component of the page, throw boxes around, pour content out of boxes even draw on the page Filled with easter eggs throughout the site we wanted people to explore and find out just what Cravendale is all about.
I was responsible for the art direction and design of the site, working with technical lead to bring the world of Cravendale to life.

A Personal Illustration inspired by a trip abroad. I created a rich, layered illustration to mirror the atmosphere, (or at least my memories). My plan is to print a large version and frame it. I just need to find the time and perfect frame.

The biuuu bird project, an series of illustrated wallpapers. Available for desktop, and mobile phones devices. The biuuu bird wallpapers can be downloaded from the Poolga website. A fun little project I really enjoyed developing, so much so I created a quick 3D render of the biuuu bird. Maybe I'll revisit the series one day, with a whole range of animal buddies.
